Beautiful 12 High, Sinclaire, 2 Handle Amphora Vase, Signed, Great Form
This is one of the nicest examples of this type of vase and it doesn't get any better than being made by H. Signature is below one of the handles. Size is 12" high x 6" diameter (body shoulder) tapering to 4 3/8 (base diameter).
Scalloped rim is 5 7/8. The blank is of high quality with sharp and precise cutting. Handles are perfectly annealed and attachment is excellent.
Handles extend an additional 1 out from body. Weight is quite heavy at almost 7 lb. I searched all my available ACGA re-print catalogs, but could not find the pattern.
