This spectacular and very well made pair of 18K yellow gold post earrings have sugilite inserts. The sugilite pieces appear blue in my photos, but are definitely purple. Each earring is 1.4 inches by 0.4 inch, and the pair weighs 6.1 grams. Backs are marked "18K" and the clips are marked "750".
