Signed and Dated Medium Size, Complete KORAN. 306 leaves (612 pages); size: 13.2 x 17.5 cm; 15 lines to a page, in elegant, clear, and handsome naskh script, in black ink; on beige paper.

All verses are marked by All the divisions of the Koran are marked by colorful medallions on the margins. There are tens of such medallions. The text is vocalized throughout.

There are 2 handsomely illuminated pages in the beginning, in gold and colors and one at the end. All headings of suras are marked by colorful gold strip.

All verses are separated by rosettes in gold and colors. All pages are ruled in several lines of red, green, blue, black and two gold lines of different shades.

Recitational marks are in red. It was written by Muhammad Hilmi, a student of the master calligrapher al-Sayyid Husni, and completed it in the year 1289 of Islamic calendar, corresponding to 1872 AD, in the town of Uluborlu, a small Turkish town on the Mediterranean side. The Koran is bound in morocco with a flap, in the traditional Islamic bookbinding, gild inlays, in a nice arabesque design. Cover is rebacked an professionally repaired.
