Murano Venini Signed Apple Green Opaline Cased Glass Vase 11 3/4 High 2001
This is a large 2001 Apple Green Murano Venini Opaline art glass vase. This vase is signed to the base "Venini 2001" and still has the original label-as shown.
Measures 14.25" tall and 6.5" in diameter. It's in excellent pre-owned condition with no chips, cracks or marks.
I tried to get clear picture of bottom showing signature and date but my camera kept blurring but I guarantee it is there! The "Opalino" vases are an absolute classic from Venini. The vases made of Murano glass are made using the so-called "overlay technique".The overlay technique is one of the oldest techniques in glass production. This wonderful glass process demands a high level of expertise on the part of the glass blower.
