SIGNED BRONZE CLASSIC SCULPTURE NUDE MALE ART HIGHLY DETAILED STATUE ON MARBLE. This sculpture is a reproduction of Donatello's David bronze sculpture (circa 1440s). This was the first freestanding male sculpture created since antiquity. The sculpture is situated atop a very distinguished marble green base.

Young David poses nude while displaying a mysterious smile with his foot on top of Goliath's severed head. David is wearing an ornate hat with a laurel on top as well as a pair of boots. He bears a rather large sword in his right hand just above the head of his murdered victim. Even though he has a rather feminine body, his masculinity shines through in his accomplishment of defeating the giant Goliath.
